Yamunotri

Goddess Yamuna · 3,293m

The source of the sacred Yamuna river in Uttarkashi district. Westernmost of the four Dhams with a scenic 6km trek through Garhwal landscapes.

Gangotri

Goddess Ganga · 3,048m

The origin of the sacred Ganga river. Temple sits beside the serene Bhagirathi river in the high Himalayas of Uttarkashi district.

Kedarnath

Lord Shiva · 3,583m

One of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. The ancient stone temple requires a 16km trek and sits against the magnificent Kedar peak backdrop.

Badrinath

Lord Vishnu · 3,133m

The most prominent Dham on the banks of Alaknanda river in Chamoli. The brightly painted temple with Neelkantha peak backdrop is iconic.

Day-by-Day Plan

Sample Itinerary (11 Days)

DAY01

Arrival & Drive to Barkot

Haridwar / Rishikesh → Barkot

Depart from Haridwar after breakfast. Travel through the Garhwal hills via Dharasu Bend toward Barkot — base for Yamunotri darshan. Overnight stay at hotel in Barkot.

DAY02

Yamunotri Darshan

Barkot → Janki Chatti → Yamunotri (Trek 6km)

Drive to Janki Chatti and trek 6km to Yamunotri temple. Take a dip in the Surya Kund and offer puja to Goddess Yamuna. Trek back and drive to Barkot for overnight stay.

DAY03

Gangotri Darshan

Barkot → Uttarkashi → Gangotri

Drive through Uttarkashi and reach Gangotri by afternoon. Perform puja at the Gangotri temple and take a holy dip in the Bhagirathi river. Evening aarti at the ghat. Overnight at Gangotri.

DAY04

Kedarnath Journey Begins

Gangotri → Guptkashi / Sonprayag

Long scenic drive through Uttarkashi and Rudraprayag to reach Guptkashi or Sonprayag — base for Kedarnath yatra. Overnight stay to rest before the trek.

DAY05

Kedarnath Darshan

Sonprayag → Gaurikund → Kedarnath (Trek 16km)

The highlight of the Char Dham. Trek 16km from Gaurikund to the ancient Kedarnath temple. Seek blessings of Lord Shiva at this majestic Jyotirlinga. Overnight at Kedarnath.

DAY06–07

Return & Onwards to Badrinath

Kedarnath → Gaurikund → Badrinath

Trek down to Gaurikund and drive via Rudraprayag, Karnaprayag, and Joshimath to reach Badrinath. Rest and prepare for the final Dham darshan.

DAY08

Badrinath Darshan

Badrinath Temple & Mana Village

Early morning abhishek and darshan at Badrinath temple. Visit Tapt Kund, Brahma Kapal, and the last Indian village of Mana. Overnight at Badrinath.

DAY09–11

Return Journey

Badrinath → Rishikesh → Haridwar

Begin the descent through Joshimath, Devprayag, and Rishikesh. Evening Ganga Aarti at Haridwar on the final day. Tour concludes with a deeply transformative spiritual journey complete.
